How CheckMyMint reaches a recommendation

A useful token diagnostic must distinguish facts from inference. We label each result by its evidence source and never present an unavailable platform check as a live result.

On-chain evidence

We inspect the Solana mint and the applicable metadata path. Classic SPL tokens may use Metaplex Token Metadata, while Token-2022 can use metadata pointer and token metadata extensions.

Platform evidence

Where a documented API is available, platform state is fetched directly and timestamped. API failures are shown as unavailable rather than converted into a pass or failure.

Inferred readiness

Some products rely on upstream recognition without exposing a complete direct status. Those results are explicitly labeled as inferred and include the dependency used.

Freshness and corrections

Prices, rules and workflow claims include a review date. Official first-party documentation takes priority, and outdated claims are removed rather than silently preserved for rankings.
